I have always wanted to be better at webdesign, it’s just not something I have ever got the hang of.
FTP, HTML, PHP — no problem, let me at it. But when it comes to creating any thing other than basic graphics I am at a loss. I keep meaning to learn and better myself at it, but it is one of those things that I mean to do, but never get around to.
I came across a great community a while ago called, well…Gre.at! It’s a sort of social network for designers where you can upload your designs and have them rated and reviewed by other members. You can also look through every one else’s work and rate them, which is what I will be doing mostly with my account. You can view the designs by top rated, most commented and most favorited etc — I love the one below, one of the top rated on the site, it’s so simplistic yet beautiful.
I will be telling several of my online friends about the site also, because they run a competition where once every so often the pick a design to award the prize of $100 to!
Now, maybe this is my inspiration to finally try and get better
