Cosmetic surgery is such big business here in the USA, it seems like it is an awful lot more normalised here than it is in other countries I have lived in — it almost seems like it’s no big deal, every one is doing it — I am not sure how much I like that attitude to it. I am not against plastic surgery by any means, it can give people confidence they never would have had otherwise and allow them to live the life they want, that can’t be a bad thing — but I think it’s something that people should be a lot less blase about!
What is surprising though is that despite it being so common over here, it is also actually still really expensive compared to other places, especially some areas of Europe where you can get much lower Breast Augmentation Prices as well as most other surgeries.
I guess a lot of Americans assume that if it is cheaper, it won’t be as good and they would rather pay more for a better service, but that just isn’t the case at all — as long as the surgeon you are going to use has a good reputation and you do your research, it really shouldn’t matter what country you are in
