When my darling husband, who is still in the bad books for forgetting my birthday by the way, and I got married last year we were at odds on most things — we had several arguments that mainly went along the lines of the following:
I say that I want ‘this’, he says that he wants ‘that’, I ask what we are meant to go for then, he says he doesn’t know, I say that we should go with what I want as I am the bride and that is how it usually works, he says that is unfair and we both end up grumpy with each other over the smallest of things.
In the end what we decided to do, was hand over all the power to a wedding planner — someone who was so brilliant at their job they gave us the perfect wedding and not another cross word was spoken.
