I was on Boating OUI a while ago and they have this vidoe that aims to educate about boating safety and especially drink driving — Watch the video for yourself here.
A lot of people probably wouldn’t even think twice about having a beer or two before driving a boat, people who would never drink alcohol and then drive a car. So I think it is an important message to get out there, it’s a valid word to be spreading — drinking while operating any kind of vehicle is stupid and dangerous and there are laws against it for a reason!
Imagine the amount of laws, advice and regulations the guys from ‘The Boat That Rocked’ were breaking, it’s a new Richard Curtis film that I am going to see on Tuesday next week, it’s an advance screening — ooh fancy, get me 
It’s a romantic comedy set in 1960s Britain and follows the adventures of a radio station hosted on a boat — every one spends 90% off the time drinking, partying and on drugs. Definite no nos in this day and age, but I guess it was a lot more acceptable back then right, I think every one was on drugs in the 60s, even the police and other law enforcement people no doubt.
