Argh, after deciding not to ‘fight’ the incorrect ban I got from the company I was talking about in my previous post I wish I had done now.
I figured the punishment was that I would not be able to take any more posts over the next two weeks, but it turns out it also means I don’t get paid for several already completed posts.
They started rejecting my posts left and right since the ban and because I can’t login to my account, I cannot resubmit them even though the errors are only tiny or in one case completely fabricated.
I have sent them an email to ask about this but they have not replied and in that time (you only get 3 days to fix them) the posts have expired.
I have been doing a lot of research about them because when this started happening I was convinced they were a scam site, banning people for bogus reasons and then rejecting all their posts so they don’t have to pay them – but they do seem to be legitimate.
I am not happy though, it makes me dubious about working with them again once my ban passes. I did that work, the advertiser has gotten x days free advertising, it is not fair that I shouldn’t be paid for it.
