Up until a few years ago I had never owned any formal dresses, I am almost 30 years old…can you believe that?
I was always rather overweight so when it came to the rare occasion I needed to go to an event that would require a formal dress I would never even look at the pretty ones, I would just go out and buy any old dress I could find that fitted and hid as much of my body as possible – the mistake most overweight people make, because they end up looking like they are wearing a tent heh.
Now that I am skinnier and living in the States where formal dress occasions are much more prevalent I can’t get enough – I love dressing up and any excuse to buy a new dress is find by me 
I don’t have any events coming up where I could wear one, but I wish I did because someone just told me about AMI Clubwear and they have loads of stunning and unique dresses – the one pictured to your left is totally the sort I would buy. Aqua looks great on me and I love strapless ones, isn’t it gorgeous? I wonder if I could justify buying it any way? hehe
