So my husband is going to get some more sales training so that he can try and move up in his job. He’s been there for a few years now and he really enjoys it — he currently works in the tech support area but would like to move into sales.
His employers do offer some training courses but they are very expensive and time consuming so I said I would look online and see if I could find any information on doing the courses online and in his own time (and in his dressing gown if he wanted!) — I came across Learn.com who have recently launched a personal edition of their site so that any one can take the courses available and attain a ‘Skill Score’.
The courses are really in depth and suitable for any skill level, you can take as many or as little of the sections of the course as you like. I love that before you begin you can take a skill assessment and that will let you know which areas specifically you should be concentrating on.
I hope that this will help him to get his dream promotion, and I am going to have a look and see what is availble for me to take as well
