When I found out that I was going to be moving to the USA almost three years ago now there were so many things I was excited about and places I couldn’t wait to see, America has so many iconic buildings and areas that you could easily spend a year traveling around to see them all.
Central Park, Time Square, The Golden Gate Bridge, Miami Beach – the list goes on.
I have already checked off quite a few from my list of places to see, but have many more still to go.
The one I was most excited about however was Las Vegas! You would have to have been living on another planet to have never heard of Las Vegas and the many wonderful things to do there. The casinos and partying Vegas is known for must have featured in 100s if not 1000s of movies over the years – The Hangover being the most recent one!
Every one dreams of visiting Vegas, getting Vegas show tickets, hitting up the casinos and watching the water fountains, right?
Well after being here for almost two years I finally got to live the Vegas dream with two glorious nights away at Hard Rock. The trip was worth every cent and lived up to expectations completely. We spent a lot of time in the hotel casino which was totally mind blowing – neither of us are big gamblers but you have to have a go when you visit Vegas, we mainly stuck to the slot machines but also spent some time at the craps tables. We visited several of the nightclubs and saw two shows – Chriss Angel and Blue Man Group, both of which lived up to expectations. We stayed up late enough one night to watch the sunrise from our hotel balcony.
Trip of a lifetime, I only wish we could have stayed longer
