I remember back in the days I was at school and had to wear glasses, they were so much more expensive than they are these days but of course being a child I didn’t really care about that.
My mom would nag and nag and nag me about how I had to be careful with them as they were very delicate and cost a lot of money – despite that I think I must have got through at least a few pairs per year. I would sit on them, drop them, stand on them and lose them on a regular basis.
Oh dear.
Now I find myself as the one doing the nagging, pleading with kids to take care of their eyeglasses and despairing when they don’t!
I wonder if they’ve invented ‘kid proof’ glasses yet?
One thing is for sure, if you shop for them at some where like Zenni Optical they at least don’t cost even close to as much as they used to back when I was the one not taking proper care of them.
