When I was growing up I always wanted to be an interior designer so getting to renovate and decorate my own entire house was really like a dream come true.
I enjoyed every second of it, from deciding what color the walls in the bathroom should be to picking out metal beds for the spare room.
I actually didn’t want to get a metal bed, I wanted a faux leather one to match the one in our master bedroom. But my husband argued that since we would only rarely have people staying over we shouldn’t really spend a fortune on a bed just so it ‘fits in’ with the master bedroom and he was right of course – mainly the spare room will be used as a little office and gym, the bed is in there just in case really. So far in the three months since we finished the house not a single person has slept in it!
