I think we are going to go hunting for some cheap blinds later today or maybe tomorrow. We’ve been saying ever since we moved in that we really should replace the tatty old ones in the kitchen but it’s one of those things we’ve just never got around to.
We’ve been to the DIY stores most weekends since we moved in so it’s not like we couldn’t have picked some up, but I guess with so many other things to do in order to make the place our own some new blinds has not been that high up on the priority or money spending list.
Now we have decided to do it though I know exactly the sort I want so once I have taken the measurements it should just be a case of being straight in, picking them up and straight back out again 
Actually I think I will get my husband to take the measurements, it’s no secret I am very clumsy and I have a sore knee at the moment from running so knowing me I’d end up losing my balance, falling over and doing myself an injury and spending the day at A&E rather than at the DIY place!
