Ah the joys of browsing Wedding Dresses, something that every woman (every one I know any way!) loves to do. I wish I were searching for a wedding dress for myself but alas no, it is for my sister in law who is getting married in the summer. I don’t get to be a bridesmaid as she already has too many but I get to help her choose her wedding dress and I am organizing her bachelorette party so it’s all find with me.
Our tastes are very similar as well which is fun. I once helped another friend of mine find her dream wedding dress and it was doubly difficult because we had very different tastes – every thing I picked out she hated and every thing she tried on I hated so it took me a while to learn her style and adjust my thinking so that I could have an objective opinion based on her style and not mine.
It’s so much simpler when you both like the same things and most everything each of us picks up the other one already loves – then it’s just a matter of does it fit, does it suit her, does it need any alterations, is it the right price?
We have already been out a few times and are heading to a new boutique in town on Friday – she wants to get one chosen as soon as possible obviously but I am secretly hoping it takes her ages to find one that she loves because then I have the excuse to keep going and looking at more. I may even try on a few wedding dresses myself before the adventures are over – we’re not the same size (she’s tiny!!) but she suggested on the last trip it might help her to see the dresses on someone else.
