I can’t remember the last time I had to dress up for any sort of event – but I am going to not one, not two, but three Christmas parties within the next month!
CircusCircus.co.uk is a great Party Shop London that my friend is always raving about, he spends a lot of time in London for work and says he has been going there for years for all his fancy dress needs. They have loads of costumes for adults and kids and he says they have never failed him and always had exactly what he needed – even if the costume was a little odd and out there as they are a lot of the time with him 
I already have my outfit sorted for one of the parties – it’s a Christmas theme so with lots of stuff in the shops at the moment that one is easy peasy. The other two I am still looking for ideas for.
It has made me want to throw my own fancy dress party though, I just love the idea of people getting excited about it weeks in advance as they are thinking about and planning their outfits. I also tend to find people relax more when they are in fancy dress – I think there is something quite ‘freeing’ about not caring if you look a little silly
